Giving Tuesday 2023: Make a Lasting Impact
Empower Future Architects on their Path to Licensure
In the dynamic world of architecture, every blueprint holds the potential to shape the future. The Wisconsin Architects Foundation (WAF) stands as a testament to this belief, celebrating our 70th year with the 70 for 70 Campaign. As we approach Giving Tuesday, let’s review WAF’s story, the purpose of the 70 for 70 Campaign, and the unique approach we bring to this global day of giving.
A Brief History:
Established seven decades ago, the Wisconsin Architects Foundation has been a guiding force in advancing the architectural profession. Through scholarships, grants, and initiatives, WAF has cultivated a legacy of empowering emerging professionals, fostering innovation, and promoting the value of design in our communities. The 70 for 70 Campaign:
This milestone year marks the launch of the 70 for 70 Campaign, a visionary initiative aimed at raising $70,000 by June 30, 2024 to propel emerging professionals into licensure. In 2022, only 20 individuals in Wisconsin earned their architectural license- we are on a mission to elevate that number and empower more emerging professionals in the world of architecture!
